A check of how your child's face, jaws, and bite are growing, alongside how they breathe, swallow, and rest their tongue. It is the part of the exam that looks at where your child's mouth is heading, not only what is in it today.
Dr. Dan Truong looks at jaw width and shape, how the teeth are meeting, tongue movement, lip seal, and any signs of mouth breathing or restless sleep. Images are taken where they add something. You hear what was found and what it means before you leave.
Growth is far easier to guide while the jaws are still developing than to correct once they are not. Spotting a narrow arch, a crossbite, or a mouth-breathing habit early is what keeps the options simple later.
