One of the goals we have as a pediatric specialist is to make our patients more comfortable and to offer the beast treatment modalities available. We are excited to announce the arrival of our new dental Erbium Laser. The laser has proven safe and effective for many surgical procedures, including the removal of tooth decay and cavity preparation.
The laser has been revolutionizing dental care-- just as it has in so many other areas of our lives. With the Waterlase MD, we can provide children with a new method of dental care, which often can be performed, in many cases, without injection of local anesthesia. We have been able to use the laser instead of the drill in most instances to prepare Class I through Class V preparations-- 90% success rate without anesthetic!
